The Opportunity

Island Glamping Adventures is a fully operational, asset-rich glamping rental business based in Victoria, BC. Over four seasons, it built a strong reputation — 5-star Google rating, an engaged following, and consistent inbound booking inquiries — all grown organically through word of mouth, collabs, and a strong brand presence.

The business has proven demand across two operating models: a delivery-based tent rental service (set up at backyards, campgrounds, and private properties), and an emerging opportunity as a fixed glamping destination on its own property. A new owner can step in with an established brand, ready-to-deploy equipment, and a live booking platform from day one.

Featured in West Coast Weddings and West Coast Magazine. Named a finalist, Vancouver Island Wedding Awards Best Styled Shoot 2023.

On the value of IGA's direct booking assets: Industry data shows direct bookings generate 20-30% more revenue per guest than OTA-only listings, thanks to longer stays, premium pricing, and upsells. IGA's website, integrated booking platform, and 3,000+ social following are the infrastructure that makes that premium achievable. That represents an additional ~$12,900 in upside profit potential for a buyer who activates the full direct booking channel.

A note on BC’s short-term rental legislation: The 2024 Short-Term Rental Accommodations Act restricts most Airbnb-style rentals to principal residences , but tent and RV-style accommodations are explicitly exempt, as they cannot be converted to permanent housing. Rural properties and regional district electoral areas (covering much of southern Vancouver Island, the Gulf Islands, and the Cowichan Valley) are also largely exempt. A bell tent glamping setup is one of the most regulation-friendly short-term rental models available in BC right now.

A Note from the Seller

"When I bought Island Glamping Adventures from the original owners in 2024, it was to supplement my consulting practice during the slower summer months. My health had other ideas. I live with multiple sclerosis and experienced a significant setback just as my first season was wrapping up. It forced me to miss the 2025 season entirely, and realize this particular model isn't compatible with my health needs. I'd love to see it go to someone in the community who can grow it into the vibrant operation I always imagined."
